Those interested in buying a condo in downtown Toronto have plenty of neighbourhoods to choose from. There are some that will offer you beautiful views and others that will put you at the centre of the city's nightlife. When you're living in a city as big as Toronto, it's important to choose a neighbourhood that suits you and allows you to really have a place to call home. If you're a young professional that might mean Yorkville real estate where you're steps away from everything you could possibly want. If you're retired that might mean moving a little away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core. Here are some options when it comes to condo neighbourhoods in Toronto.

If you're interested in the most modern condo designs and have some money to spend than you will likely want to start your search in Yorkville or the Entertainment District along Front Street. This is where developers are building the tallest buildings with the most luxury amenities. Yorkville is located right around the intersection of Yonge and Bloor streets and puts you blocks away from some of the city's best restaurants, clubs, the University of Toronto, and the city's Financial District. The Entertainment District has views of Lake Ontario that you won't even find with Toronto Beaches real estate and puts you close to Union Station, the Rogers Centre, and many of the city's top theatres and nightspots. Both of these neighbourhoods are great for the young professional.

If you're interested in a condo in a neighbourhood that's a little quieter but still want easy access to the downtown core, there are still many options to choose from. The condos at King and Queen West offer you unique designs like other converted Toronto lofts with a little bit more of a relaxed atmosphere. Just west of Yorkville is another neighbourhood that is coveted by people looking for that perfect combination between quiet streets and great amenities. This is Toronto Annex real estate, where new condos are popping up next to some of the oldest properties still existing in the city.

There are also some great condo neighbourhoods outside of Old Toronto that are great for people who want to be a short streetcar or subway ride from the heart of the city. Lawrence Park Toronto is on the east side of Yonge Street between Eglinton and Lawrence Streets and is becoming increasingly popular with retired couples and older professionals. Bloor West Village is another option and is the perfect choice for many young families.
